In order to use the musicgorilla.com website you must become a member. Artist Members will also be required to provide names of all band members. Below is how this information is used.
WHAT INFORMATION IS COLLECTED FOR PERSONS UNDER 13 YEARS OF AGE
Music Gorilla operates its site in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). COPPA was enacted to prevent Web sites from giving or receiving information from children without their parents’ consent. Therefore, we do not permit registration by, and will not knowingly collect or use personally identifiable information from anyone under 13 years of age. HOW INFORMATION IS USED
Your email address is used to send you a confirmation email to use our Site, to inform Artist Members when the industry is listening or interested in members music as well as occasional emails from Music Gorilla. You can opt out of receiving these occasional emails by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and requesting that we no longer send you occasional emails. User ID and passwords (you may change your password, as well as any personally identifiable information you have given us in order to keep this information current) helps us securely identify you as a registered or permitted member of certain features and functions on the Site. User names are also used publicly to identify who referred a person to musicgorilla.com, in chat rooms, message boards, e-bandcards or e-songcards, and messages sent to members. Band member names will be made public on the Artists band page. We may share (provide, receive, or disclose) aggregate information about our sites to third parties, including information regarding the effectiveness of our advertisers’ advertisements. For our internal purposes, we may gather information such as the date, time, browser type, navigation history, and IP address of all visitors to our Site. We use this information for our internal security audit log, trend analysis, and system administration, and to gather broad demographic information about our user base for aggregate use.
We may collect personal financial information from you including your credit card number, phone number and address when you place an order or register as an Artist Member. This information is stored securely, transmitted encrypted, and is ONLY used in fulfilling your membership or order. It is never shared with anyone else.

INFORMATION USED WHEN I REFER-A-FRIEND OR SEND AN E-BANDCARD OR E-SONGCARD
If a member elects to use our referral service for informing a friend about our Site, or sends a friend an e-bandcard or e-songcard, we ask them for the friend’s name and email address. Music Gorilla will automatically send the friend a one-time email, e-bandcard or e-songcard inviting them to visit the site. We will use the contact information you enter for your friends to send the email or e-card. Music Gorilla stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email. The friend may contact musicgorilla.com at email@example.com to request the removal of this information from our database.
PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION IN PUBLIC FORUMS
Some online activities necessarily lead to disclosure of your personally identifiable information to third parties, such as when you include your name and email address in an email to a third party.
